 FAQs

  • Home care provides non-medical services that assist with day-to-day activities such as non-skilled caregiving, house work, and cooking.

Home health can include home care in addition to skilled nursing services that require clinical expertise such as medication management, diabetes care, or wound care.

Only an agency licensed by their State can provide home health services.

  • The cost of care differs from person to person and depends on several different factors:

Care category - home care vs. home health

Amount of hours - we offer shifts as short as two hours up to twenty-four hours

We pride ourselves in being transparent and we are able to to give you an estimate once your assessment is completed

  • No, your assessment is absolutely free and you will not pay a dime until you’ve decided to proceed with care. Once you’ve signed your Client Service Agreement (CSA), we require a three week deposit which can be used towards your last three weeks of service and is fully refundable.

  • Yes and yes.

First, you are free to cancel services within 24 hours of the next scheduled shift. Should you cancel services within 24 hours of the next regularly scheduled shift, you will be eligible for a full refund of your deposit as long as you have no outstanding balance.

Second, changes can occur to your care plan for a variety of reasons and is very common. For example, if your condition changes and you need more or less help, we would either increase or decrease the level of care you receive and the amount of hours we serve you.

  • Our care managers and schedulers work tirelessly to ensure you are paired with the right caregiver and we do our best to maintain consistency by limiting the amount of caregivers that work with you.

Should you ever have a concern regarding your caregiver, we have a confidential grievance process and will work together to find a better replacement.

All caregivers are employed directly by Honey Healthcare and are therefore insured and undergo background checks, reference checks, skills verification, and competency testing.
